So, today I'm starting my journaling, and I figured I'll do it here, incase anyone wants to be bored by it. So here it goes. I'm starting to alter my food intake and exercise daily. I feel like if I do it this way, I'll have a better chance of seeing my successes and keep going. Or, seeing where Im failing and changing it. Life is so short, and I want to be happy in my skin. I want to do things without thinking that ppl are thinking I shouldn't be because of my size. I have a major low self esteem, adn hoping to increase it with this. :)

So, It's been forever dear blog world, I have forgotten ALL about you. but now that my 8 month old is a night owl, I'm finding all sorts of fun stuff to do being up til 1:30.
recovering form viral meningitis is really a messy thing. My body feels great, but I believe it has messed up all my hormones and the things that make me a girl. whats the prob, Bob!?!?!

Auntie Carri’s Cheesy Lasagna

My nephew called me and asked me to give him my lasagna recipe for a class cook book. After I got done typing it, I figured I'd share it with all of my friends. It's super cheesy and super yummy!!!

Auntie Carri’s Cheesy Lasagna

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (90 % is best)
1 tablespoon garlic OR ½ teaspoon minced
1 medium onion, diced
1 small green pepper, diced

1 cup Ricotta cheese, shredded
1 cup Cottage Cheese
8 oz Provolone cheese, shredded
8 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded, plus 2 cups for topping
8 oz Parm.-Reg. cheese, (spaghetti cheese)
1 egg
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste

1 box lasagna noodles
3 jars favorite spaghetti sauce

Directions

1. In a frying pan, combine the first group of ingredients. Cook thoroughly. Drain and put in fridge. While cooking beef mixture, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Follow the instructions on the Lasagna noodles box. TIP: place a few noodles at a time in the pot to keep the water boiling! When done, drain and rinse.
2. In a large bowl combine second group of ingredients. Messy, but fun! When meat mixture has cooled, mix into the cheese.
3. Grease the bottom of a 9X13 pan, spread about ½ cup of sauce on bottom of pan.
4. Next, place a layer of noodles side by side. Should be 3.
5. With a spatula, spread your meaty cheese mixture on your noodles.
6. Lay down another 3 noodles.
7. Generously pour some spaghetti sauce on these noodles.
8. Lay down another 3 noodles.
9. Continue with the meaty cheese layer, noodle layer and sauce layer until the pan is full. I like the top to be covered with sauce and sprinkled Mozzarella cheese.
10. Cover loosely with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly.
11. Let set for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

Healthy Choices: can use reduced fat cheese products. Spinach can be used in the mixture as well.

This meal goes great with a green salad topped with your favorite dressing.

Since today is Good Friday, I figured I'd point out exactly why its so good! This is the verses after Chrsit had been crucified and put into the sepulchre and a great stone rolled in front of it and 2 guards to make sure that nothing would happen. We know God, had bigger plans and no man could stop him!

Ok, so its 10:43 and 3 of Chloe's friends are left to spend the night. Our pj's are on and I tried to start the movie, but for some reason..my dvd player won't work...how unfortunate. So, my remedy? A bowl of candy and the Christian children channel I mentioned earlier. You couldn't imagine 4 little giggly girls shoveling starburst in their mouth having the slumber party time of their lives!!! Pics to come.

New Converter Boxes

For those of you, like me, who do not have cable, the DTV switch is inevitably going to effect us. Well, your problems could all be over with this small converter box that after coupon you pay a mere $20.00. Well, it all stinks to the uttermost. If it's rainy or cloudy, it won't come in. Even when it's perfectly nice outside it pixelates and some channels you can hardly see. I'm not sure what all the hype is, it's more annoying then not! The ONLY plus is that there is a channel 17-5 and it's all Christian children television, and very good. So, if your not totally opposed to cable, it's the way to go. We, on the other hand will be content with what we have. Just thought I'd throw a message out there for all of you!

Hi, well, I guess I havent been around..since I don't have the net..but, if your close to me and our church, we are having a month long ladies meeting in March. We are going through the book of I John. It's going to be super fun. It'll be Tuesdays at 6:00 during the whole month of March. So, Im tired of it...I want it to stop. I've had a great attitude, I've luhved it fromt he beginning. But, our relationship is over! My luhv of that white flaky CHRISTMAS time stuff is over. I've compared it to dandruff...lol! When a 20 minute trip turns into 50..yenno theres something wrong. ANYWAYS

I'm about to persuade my honey into net again..so hopefully I can start doing all these things I luhved before. I'm tired of being out of the loop.

well, since I never get to post anymore...I'll simply digest..I guess. I'm so glad it's a new year..last year was the pits. It's definatley an improvement so far. My children are getting older, and things are getting a pinch easier. My resolution this year was to A) give my life entirely to the Lord...which, its harder to surrender then I might think..all those things we know we shouldn't be doing, watching, saying.....I'm tired of feeling like I let him down..B) ORGANIZE....that ones a bit easier...

Well, here I am a WEEK later...I hate not having internet.
first of all, if you've ever been to Sears for Pics..DONT EVER GO THERE. I had the WORSE experience, and I will never go back. The photographer had no idea for poses, and no idea how to even talk to my kids. 15 minutes and a pic later I told her to forget it! ARRRG, I did buy a $5.00 set, but i will never go back.
I think I have lost about 12 pounds. I'm not sure what I did wrong this week, but I should've lost 2 more pounds than what I did.
I had tons of fun last weekend.. I had the best, most yummiest exotic kinds of pizza. spinach, feta cheese, BBQ Chicken, some weird chineese kinds, you name it, I ate it!! yummy yum Mcyum yum!!! yeah, it was good...lol! I played the Wii......boxing to be exact and killed my husband...bowling, well, that too! basketball shooting..yup! Is there anything I can't play, or beat my hubby at----oh, yeah, tennis!! I stunk it up, I'll admit. BOY was it fun! Can someone else invite me over??????!!!!!?!?!?!?! lool

Yenoo, I've been real hostile and down about this whole election. People casually didn't vote..because they just didn't know anything...sorry excuses! Now, we have a man who is so anti-Christ...it's rediculous..I've decided though, instead of being bitter to just pray for his salvation. I know that this morning he, along with Bush, met with some foriegn country leaders to go over all of the top secret things going on in the "terorrist" files. I'm not sure exactly what it's called. I'm just praying God reaches this man, before it's too late. With God ALL things are possible...it's not too late for revival in this country..but it WONT happen if all we do is sit around and whine about what kind of nation we are to elect Mr. Obama...God allowed this to happen for a reason, and we are to toughen up and act like God is in control..

Well, First things first..my honey is home from Fla. My children are becoming crazier by the minute, and lately my days seem to need to be done as soon as they start! LOL!! On a fantasitc note. We had our first service in our building..my husband is so patient waiting on the Lord, and making sure he follows God's lead. And we are planted in West Akron reaching that area for Christ. We are soooo thrilled and thankful for all of your prayers. Now, I just get to use my decorating expertise (big ZERO) and start decorating.

Yeah, well, my hubsnad is off doing his favor for his sister. At this moment, he is at Sea World, Fla, looking at all the cool animals. He is going to be spending the next 6 days having tons of fun. For those of you who don't know, his nephew has cycle cell, and the make a wish foundation provided him with a wish. Of coarse it's Disney World. When his sister asked Aaron to go, he figured sure. Well, sure for him...bummer for us. So, i'm going to living souly with a 4, 3, and 7 months old. Rising, eating, living and more than likely sleeping with them. It would probably be better if I was a single parent, atleast then I would have to work and get away from them...no, I really couldn't do that. I count it a blessing to have a husband that cares so much. I'm sure most of you know my husbands character, and no matter how fun this trip would seem to us, he is missing his family, his church, and no amount of Mickey can take care of that!

Well, I must be off to take care of Chloe and get her to sleep for church tonight..<---noticing a weird smacking noice...walking in on CHLOE sucking her TOE...talking about brownies....ever wonder what goes on in a 4 yr olds mind???? We peobably could get some falling-off-chair laughs if all of us who have 4 yr olds to experience would share some stories...who's first?

First of all, I'm without internet, so sorry for the delay in posts. Nothing new in my children to report, but our church is about complete. All the walls are up, and ready for muding and painting. I think Mr. Wetzel will be coming next week to do that part and painting will be done. Our first Sunday is going to be the 28th, unless something delays that. We've taken 1853 ft and turned it into a beautiful nursery, foyer, and auditorium. I think our auditorium will hold about 85 people. maybe a little closer to 100 depending on how we arrange our rows in the back. Our nursery also has a window into the foyer so that we can watch and see what our little ones are doing. Keep praying for us!

Well, as most of you know, we have been praying and looking for a place to worship. Well, our prayers have been answered! We have a store front area, which is 1,853 sq, ft. that is completely open. We get to build EXACTLY the way we want. We got he keys last night, and actually an added blessing on top! Our payment is going to be about $150.00 less than what we had expected. Praise the Lord for that. Our first Sunday, we are praying for, will be the third Sun. in Oct. Thanks so much for all your prayers and concern. It has been a rough year, its good to see God work everything out and just prove to all that he is on the throne, and he will prevail.

(sorry I've been MIA with everyone..computer sorta down, had company...) hmmm, sigh!! Not sure what the drab mood is all about, but It's just been one of those weeks. I know it's only tuesday, but boy it's been an eventful couple of days...so many things have caught me off guard! how this year could get anymore strange is beyond me. Pray for us though..I think we may have gotten a GOOD store front from the Lord..something we can afford! It'll need more work then the previous one we were trying for..but I'll give you more updates on that later. Just pray for us.

Also, I got to give the gospel to someone really clearly the other day. I also gave them a John and Romans with Bible study as well, so pray for that situation.

I think I finally figured out my bed problem. Augusta is going to give me her daybed. SO i think i will probably put the girls together in the front bedroom and give Mic his room by himself and put his twin car bed up! Poor Mo is too big for her crib. Frankly, she thinks shes too big for anything. Today at the library, she decided my lap wasn't good enough..she wanted to be on the mat playing with the blocks...isn't 6 months old too young to make so many choices..lol! All I know is that she is growing up, and I mean quickly! She won't even nurse anymore..and food, well, lets just say today, she wanted cheese puffs, guess what she got...........yep! cheese puffs. What is this baby world coming to??? No wonder she's a fatty! lol

I know I browse through blogs sometimes, and what better thing to come to is a blog spot full of the gospel and blessings and the way God has changed our lives. This week

Well, this week was our first week together alone, without babysitting other kids. We had a good time. I wasn't hoem a lot this week becasue there were a circumstances that caused me to have to leave. I only plan on going to one friends house next week (Amy). Tonight was Moriahs first night away from home. She stayed with Auntie Crystal. As far as I know she did well. One time, Crystal had no idea what was wrong, Mo was crying like crazy. I told her how to get her to go to sleep. Before she had Moriah laying with a pillow close to her face, she was closing her eyes and burying her face...lol, she's so funny! Tonight was Chloe and mommy night. We watched two Barbie movies and ate hershey bars together, then we went to the grocery stores. We had fun. I did their Bible time tonight. They are so cute. Chloe is really learning how to pray. Micaiah had an allergic reaction to mesquito bites and looked like a weirdo Friday. His eye swelled up and it looked like he had a goose egg on his forehead. I gave him a dose of Benedryl, and today it looks ok. Miciaih is 99% potty trained. He still doesn't poop in the potty so i still get mad..BUT! He has gone all week..and even over night with maybe 3 accidents. So I gotta give him my props..lol. we promised him a bike when he got his pottying down, so Thursday we went and rode bike around walmart...So, I found 2 bikes for $30.00 a piece. I am ordering one for each off line next week. Maybe by then he'll be all potty and no diapers or accidents. Funny thing is, At church on Wednesday..Chloe had the accident, not Mic!!! GO figure! Anyways I think that's all.

Micaiah has gone all day in the POTTY!!!! 2 very minor accidents..but, I'd say it was a good day for him..praise the LORD!!!!!!! We promised him a bike if he stayed in underwear..today he did. We went to get him an icee for doing so well today, and he almost got really upset because I put a diaper on him..I had to explain that we may not make it to a bathroom if we are out. But we also went to Acme. Chloe had to go, so I took them both...GUESS WHAT!!!! His diaper was dry AND he went there..what a good boy!!!!!!!! FINALLY, Pray for us that tomorrow goes just as well!

talk about a nightmare

last night, we went to visit my cousin in the hospitol (she had her appendix out). Anyway, it was after visiting hours, so we had to sneak in. After succesfully getting in the first key pass doors, we got to the elevator. As we got to the elevators, we pushed the button, then realized we didn't know her new room number. As we got on the phone (directly across from the elevators) the doors must've opened. Unbeknown to Chloe, we weren't getting on. Guess what! She did. And when the doors closed and we were not there...you can only imagine the feeling she had. Well, the blood curdling scream made me turn around and not be able to find her, in a flash, I knew where she was...panicking, I started pushing the down button and yelling back, letting her know I could hear her, and Aaron ran to the steps to get her upstairs. Well, I heard her screaming alllll the way up and down. When it got to my floor I was frantically trying to pry the door open. Aaron came back because he couldn't find any steps. I got it open just a smidge, but only to lock it all down. All the lights were on, no buttons would work. I was in no state to try to calm her down, soooo Aaron got on his knees to get her attention and calm her while I went for help. Hosp. security wasn't in there office, the door to E.R. was key pass only so I couldn't get out there...it felt like eternity. I turned around to run somwhere else imagining that at 9:00 things were slim. There were these 2 guys down the hall, so i yelled to see if they worked there..."no, but what do you need?" He said radiation was right there, go ask them to call security. I got there and told them my daughter was stuck in the elevator by herself. She was real calm, and then asked how old she was. When I said 4, well, that was a different situation..As this was happening, a janitor was walking and stopped. He pushed and slammed the doors together which made them open. Poor Chloe, even Micaiah was edgy about getting on anymore elevators..and I'm sure they'll be that way for a long time...She's been talking about it all day and tearing up...

Ok, you might not want to all read this, but if you have some NURSING advise, then please do! I have been having a hard time getting Moriah to nurse. Good news is she is taking a bottle..Enfmil ONLY though. But, I have other small "problems" that could happen if I can't nurse..and I don't have any insurance to solve my problems. But I guess I can be happy she will take a bottle, and eat food. Who wants to keep my little Moriah over night..lol!

Yep, she's a big girl, eatin' cereal...awwww, how quickly they grow. She actually luhvs it, every time we eat now, she whines until I feed her. She's also doing this new thing where she "sings" and rocks..what a funny girl..

So, today, my parents took the kids to a fair. Chloe entered a hoola hoop contest. Well, she didn't win, but they all got to keep their hoola hoops. She has been practicing all day...She thinks she is soo cool. Mic was also showing me his break dancing maneuvers...Boy, have I got myself some talented kids...lol. This year was Chloe's first Vacation Bible School at Community Baptist Temple. She loved it!....all the drivin for me??? yeah not lovin it so much. But wow, it was so worth it to see her learn songs, meet friends, and, oh yeah, and she can quote John 3:16. It was so exciting to her to get up, get her pennies and her Bible and trot off to "school."

Mic went one day, but ended up on someone's lap for an hour because of the toy guns the boys were shooting. poor pitiful boy. Needless to say, that was his only day.

Chloe is now learning Psa. 37:3: "Trust in the Lord and do good."

I know, you all know that we have our Moriah now..lol, she's only 4 months old. But she is such a funny little girl with a personality that seems to have been around forever. She is mostly a good, content little girl, who smiles all the time. But, she has issues..hhahaha. First, she'll only eat when SHE wants to. If I'd like her to eat a Little early on the way to church..forget it. Secondly, she won't take a bottle anymore. she did for a while, but now, she refuses. She doesn't even like juice!!!! Chloe and Mic just adore her though, and we are turning out to be a happy little family. God has really blessed us with some fun children!

today we took the kids roller skating. they did a great job. Chloe didn't like falling though. She kept saying she didn't want to go under ground...not sure where she got that. Never the less, they luhved it! Mic even cruised around on his wheels. by the end they were his second feet. Sadly, I 4got my camera!

So, I'm here! The life of a blogger..lol. I'm introducing to you all the life with three toddlers. Not that some, sorry, most of you haven't already experienced or are experiencing this. This will be my place where, you can come to see how my days are going, how my kids are doing, or not doing. Questions, advise I might need, polls, or even interesting child articles Im might find online! Maybe even funny child centered youtube videos...I should have called this place "The Surreal life." Thats how I feel right now with a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 5 week old who has no idea that your supposed to SLEEP at night time. Chloe, Micaiah, and Moriah (in that order of age). My married life began about 5 years ago. (6 if you count dating) thanks to my cousins Augusta & Joe..heehee, who we went on our first date with. ANYWAY, one year after that we had Chloe. Boy, she was a fun baby. I remember the day of only one child....ahhhh....sorry got caught up in the moment. But thats a whole new blog that we'll continue tomorrow
